Using the CEES HPC resources

These lessons are meant to get new users started with the CEES HPC resources, one or more of:

• cod-nodes
• abel CPU hours
• disk storage connected to the cod nodes and abel
• norstore disk storage

Prerequisites

You are expected to have access to some or all of the resources (see ‘Getting access’) and a basic understanding of the unix shell. In short, these topics from the Software Carpentry Unix Shell lessons should be familiar to you:

Getting ready

You will need a PC/laptop with a terminal program, and internet connection.
